The purpose of staying at a foreign institution for      academic staff is teaching in any of the scientific and artistic fields and/or professional development with an emphasis on the development of      teaching skills, and curriculum development skills in higher education. The purpose of staying at a foreign institution for non-     academic staff is      professional development for      completing the tasks defined in the permanent employment contract or casual employment contract.

All members of      the academic or non-     academic staff of the University of Osijek, who are employed by the University of Osijek based on the permanent employment contract, as well as external associates of the University of Osijek      with a valid casual employment contract or any other contract proving their business collaboration may apply for the competition. 

Applicants need to have Croatian citizenship or the nationality of another Erasmus+ Programme participating country.

Teachers applying for a teaching activity need to have a scientific-     educational title, artistic-teaching title, or teaching title. Employees in the status of research assistant or assistant may apply for a teaching activity, provided that they are involved in the teaching at the University.

Applicants for the vocational training activity may be members of      academic and non-     academic staff.

Within the Erasmus+ programme it is possible to realize mobility in the programme countries. Programme countries are the EU Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania , Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom), as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Macedonia and Turkey.

Erasmus+ interinstitutional agreements concluded between the University of Osijek and the admission institution of higher education are a prerequisite for the realization of mobility for the purpose of teaching and vocational training at a foreign higher education institution.

A teacher is obliged to teach at least 8 hours of classes per week or at least 8 hours of classes during less than a week. It is not necessary to conclude an Erasmus+ interinstitutional agreement for the implementation of vocational training activities at an institution that does not have a higher education status.

The length of the period of mobility for teaching is a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 60 days.

The length of the period of mobility for vocational training is a minimum of 2 days, and a maximum of 60 days.
