The second meeting of the Osijek HUPE branch was held at our Faculty on March 18, 2023. The president of the branch, Adrijana Roždijavec, introduced the six-day professional development program in Edinburgh organized by HUPE for English language teachers in April and August this year. Two excellent presentations followed. We are pleased to note that one of the presentations was given by Tihana Svoren Kolarec (English language teacher and former student of this Faculty). She discussed using works of art as an incentive for elementary school students’ foreign language development. Another extremely useful and interesting presentation was given by Barbara Bošnjak (English Language Adviser), who spoke on implementing projects with the help of digital tools for secondary school students. As always, we learned something useful and new from the presenters. Thanks to our branch members and president, we enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with colleagues and exchange experiences and impressions in such an inspiring atmosphere.
