The United Nations declared the commemoration of the Global Day of Parents on June 1st, 2012, directing our attention to the value and importance of the family and the parental role in building a healthy and humane society in which we live.

As part of the Global Day of Parents celebration, the Faculty of Education is organising a gathering with a foster family on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at 10 AM in the ceremonial hall 31. By marking the Global Day of Parents, we emphasise the importance of the parental role and pay tribute to those who selflessly, by their own example, strive daily to invest in the development and protection of the youngest members of society.

We invite you to join us in commemorating this year's Global Day of Parents with members of the foster family, who, through their selfless example, demonstrate that every child deserves to live and grow up in a family community—the most valuable community in our society!
